Alright, it’s Saturday. Let’s Groove.

I, along with a good majority of the world, am a YouTube addict. What does that mean for you? Probably a good amount of videos getting posted on here, music related of course.

This video is by my favorite artist of last decade’s soul revival, Raphael Saadiq. I discovered his first album, “The Way I See It,” last winter and I have been addicted ever since (I got Pat and his entire family addicted as well). The album just grooves so DAMN HARD. He was set to play the First Avenue Mainroom this winter, but it was canceled. So Mr. Saadiq, or Mr. Saadiq’s people, if you are out there, please come to Minneapolis. It was my one excuse to dress up all super-fly and dance. That being said, here is a live performance of his songs, “100 Yard Dash” and “Calling You.” Enjoy yourself, for real.

Raphael Saadiq – 100 Yard Dash

P.S. I wish I was this cool. Seriously.
